Meeting Together

We find that spending time together can be a great help and encouragement and there are many opportunities during the week including our Sunday Morning meeting and our Home Groups.

Sunday Morning

Our aim is to worship God, have fellowship together, to hear the word of God and to encounter the Holy Spirit. We pray that we will experience love, joy, peace, faith and power.
  • 9:45am: Prayer Meeting. This is for anyone and includes the people leading sections of the Sunday Meeting. Our prayer is wide ranging. We finish with coffee and chat.
  • 10:15am: Set up Community Centre, Welcome and Refreshments
  • 11.00am: All-Age Praise and Worship
  • 11.30am: Notices - Creche, Children and Teens leave for their groups*
  • 11:40am: Worship and Contributions
  • 12:00noon: Talk and Response
  • 12:30pm: Fellowship and Refreshments
* We have staffed groups operating for all age groups: Creche (0-3yrs), Children (3-11yrs) and Teens (Secondary School) from 11:30am-12:30pm

Home Groups

The groups vary in character but may include worship, bible study, prayer and social activities. They are settings where you can exercise and develop the gifts which God has given you and where you can share your life, your joys and sorrows with people who will listen and support you. Many of us feel that they are a major part of church life and as much “church” as our Sunday meetings. We break bread in our home groups.

There is no formal memberships of groups and you are welcome to attend any of the groups. We do find, however, that people do tend to go to the same group for a while. Those with working shift patterns may need to switch between groups.

The groups happen on different days of the week. Some groups start with a meal together.

See the Bulletin for current Home Groups.
